I think I have an answer for this one: a mate of mine who is pretty skinny adds 50kg when no one is looking then gets off when some bigger bloke comes along, the macho one's thinking "Wow! I've got to be tronger than that skinny fella!" and hopefully in his mind hurting more than their macho pride!
Yes! That too. That's what I meant with squat rack too...:woo::woo: Also, "bros" yaping on their phone while taking up a lifting station "Yeah brah I'm so pumped, yo! I'm gonna do some shrugs now."
ha! well i can't always get to the decent gym and this one is 2min away from my house so sometimes you need to make best of a bad situation
While most people are talking about gyms. Folks who leave their towel on one piece of gear, and their waterbottle on another and then go and use something else and loiter around yet more equipment while on rest breaks. And the look of surprise they get when I (OMG! a woman, in the weights room) ask if they are finished using something. Yay for home gyms!
Only women drive automatics  Another one: people who rack up 500lbs at the deadlift station and just leave it like that once they're done. NOT cool!
They're fantastic. I can change gear if I want but what's the point unless I'm bombing down a b road. Nothing like sticking your foot down and dropping two gears sorry 'bout that
People on here would take my plates off one side, stick them on the other side, then double them. Do I care?
Quite right to. I joined a gym this week, first time I've been in one for years. As I walked in I had a little laugh to myself. Same ol' scene, same skinny guys with weight lifting gloves and belts. Big arms, little legs. Girls in full make up on the exercise bikes. I fairness though I do show off in the stretching area.
So do you put it through the hole in the plate or have you devised some sort of harness  It's not a speckled hen though
I've never understood this. Pretty much gave up on makeup when I passed four ohh. My teeshirt is like a wet towel when I've finished. Don't understand makeup in dojos either, being made up is not going to stop me punching you in the face if you don't block it!
