I think it's a cool video, just want to share with everybody. See the last exercise. I never seen this kind before. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1KvBoG8J78"]PUSH UPS Hindu vs Divebomber "Push Up" Pushup Cool Pushup BodyWeight Training Paul Zaichik - YouTube[/ame]
its impossible to isolate muscles, there will always be a muscle group working in opposition plus those push up variations work the triceps, chest and shoulders regardless of angle. not a fan of those exercises but a good video none the less for bodyweight trainers
As was said, there was no real discussion of isolating muscles. But he did show variations which emphasize certain mucle groups over others. Craig Ballantyne also has a pretty cool [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtcH9JUzurY]video of push-up variations.[/ame] The last one he shows, the one-hand elevated, is an absolute killer. I was sore for a solid week when I first tried it. And the Spider-Man push-ups are crazy on the hip flexibility.
