as a more serious suggestion, try varying at which point in a given rep you count. might work, or it might not, but you don't lose anything while trying
Definitely not! My male ex-trainer used to lose track of my reps if they got over 5. He was hot, though, and ever so manly.
Wow. 3.5lbs in a week. Good going Moi. I'm building about the same unfortunately because i'm just sat on my **** taste testing cakes and beer, mine is not muscle and is not in a useful place.:bang:
I'm not saying all mine is muscle but as I had 0 fat reserves I'm just eating everything in front of me I'm eating well except for cakes that my wife has decided to start making on a regular basis. Never been a problem shifting fat for me though so I'm not bothered.
I always think a bit of fat is a good thing. My abs are rock hard, and I've purposefully put a little layer of fat over them to keep them insulated so they can work more efficiently
Ok better update while I'm still sweating That 142 went down a bit after visiting the toilet I had to take a week off since the last post as I wasn't well. At first I thought the training had made me ache but turned out I'd caught something. Back into it last week and although I'm still having trouble eating enough during the day I now weigh 145.4lb which is good as I'd dropped back down to 138 or so whilst I was ill I'm getting used to the routine (slowly) and starting to find and increase the weight I'm lifting. The effort is starting to show already but that's the good thing about having little bodyfat X
Jeez it's been a while. My shoulder injury put paid to any training for months but although I don't think it's 100% but it's holding up. Anyway it's been over a week now of lifting and I'm already noticing some gains both visually and after dropping the weights down last week they're creeping up. I keep telling myself to take it easy but I really am an idiot so we'll see how it goes Oh, just for fun I've started muay thai and thinking seriously about the MMA. You're not going to see me in a cage any time soon but it's something to do (thanks Koyo & Mj for the inspiration to get me moving x) Edit: 151lb's and rising
