Seventh, check out the members workout thread, which gets better and better as you go through it. Loads of exercises with little to no equipment, all demonstrated by MAP members. http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94114&highlight=workout+thread If press ups with a clap is your thing try these. This is me doing 50 bouncing press ups. My students absolutely hate these, I love 'em. An excellend ploymetric exercise in my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/user/SimonSheridan1#p/u/4/ico8AzGWAMs Since this is the goals thread, your goal is 50 without a pause.
Meh, I'm down with chicks with muscles, I'd probably not push to 200 like, ether a round powerlifter or a pro BB at that weight! Guys can google Jelena abbou if they need convincing.
so finally got the 200kg deadlift, pleased because it was at the end of a long training session where i had tested all the powerlifts and hit a personal best gym squat of 160kg which equaled by best comp squat (failed 170) and a PB on the bench press of 135kg. Failed 205kg on the DL but if i had been deadlifting fresh would have got it so a total of 495, hopeing to make that 500 by the weekend
Yep. It's kind of fun sometimes being someone who LOOKS weak on the outside. You can't tell through a judo suit that my weight is mostly muscle. The 'OMG, what?' reaction when I dealt with someone's guard by simply scooping him up off the floor was utterly hilarious.
Nice lifting ice! Hard work is paying off! I'd love to hear more about your style of training somewhere, I remember you mentioning hitting the big 3, 3 times a week. Off topic: I'm going to get my results after doing 6thform for a second time, to see if I have gotten into uni, last year was such a disappointment, and doing an extra year (knowing no one) must have earned me some karma. So my goal is not to start a killing spree. so much riding on this....
oh about a 4-5 weeks ago i pulled 190kg after doing 5x5 squats and about 6 sets of deadlifts. forgot to post it, sorry. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSOLV8eMlnQ"]190kg deadlift - YouTube[/ame]
