    Sorry bud it's body fat.
If I were you, I'd google starting strength and eat whatever isn't attached/still alive and even then I'd make exceptions.

That's cool. Have you tried one-arm suitcase deadlifts by the way? very good for dumbells. Also, swings? have you tried dumbell swings?

Actually, I'd like to hear some stats and how the goals relate to said stats, just to keep the thread productive.

Oh, sorry. Well, I managed 7 rounds of yesterday's pullup and dumbell press-a-thon. I'm embarassed by this, and plan to get 10 at least the next time this WOD comes around.

I'm not sure what a press a thon is but 7 rounds of anything impresses me.

I thought you had already put up squat goals too ^^^^ up there somewhere.

I more meant Alex lol, because 'lean and muscular' isn't quantifiable, I was hoping we could get some attainable goals set with a system for achieving them,

KE you still running SS? How's it going for you?

I... kind of got distracted and started crossfit again. The reason being, I found myself getting out of breath too easily when I was lifting and just doing general stuff. I figure that the more general kind of fitness will serve me better.

Deadlift is back up to over 1.5x bodyweight (80kg), next goal is 90kgs.

100kg bodyweight x 1.5 does not = 90kg, have you got your maths right*?

Why is being 100kg an insult?

Because the lovely (creeping here) Frodo is not 5' 7" tall.

Picture me weighing 15 stone and FOD weighing the same.

In all honesty I dont know a single female shy of heavyweight BBers that WANT to break the 200 pound mark.

If I was 100kg I'd be giving Jabba the Hutt a run for his money in the physique competition!

200Ib females, not for me thanks.

I was of course teasing earlier. I tell you what is nice, the fact that both Frodo' and Corona' are strong and slight. This is a big benefit in the martial arts, certainly not what your training partner would expect.

I get the opposite being a big guy. People expect me to be a thuggish type, not the fast technical person they actually get.

I bet if we all wrote down what we thought of ourselves it would be very different to everyone elses opinions.

Goal is to get a Lean musclular body and explosive strength. I'm a tad bit on the chubby side. Not a lot, but that little bit is bugging the hell out of me. I shall squash that chubbiness out of existence!!

Doing HIIT and plyometric training (clap push ups, squat jumps, etc.) unfortunately I don't have any equipment and am dead broke but I'm being creative with bodyweight exercises and a jungle gym nearby.
