hey, so i have grown to love deadlifts. So far the only exercise i have availible that truly work my lats and my upper back. I just thought would it be bad to do deads and not squats? would it be like doing chest without rows? would it build an imbalance in my legs?
There are 2 totally different exercises and both should be part of your routine. Deads do not hit the legs as hard as Squats and Squats don't hit your back, traps, arms, and glutes like Deads.
Yep its called PTP and some guy called pavel made lots of money out of it. In it he recomend 2 sets of 5, 5 days a week. After a few weeks take a week off and do a different variation.
never drop squats.... i shall pretend you never said that and close my eyes while you delete your post
I'm not squatting at the moment, I don't have access to a rack. I'm using trap bar deadlifts off a platform which is a perfect substitute. Love that movement.
