ya know now that i htink of it i do twitch too. Sometimes when i sleep i have a dream of falling off a building or something and wake up still in that sensation thingy feeling that makes you feel like your falling...the feeling you get when you go down a roller coaster.
I haven't even been boxing that long, but I already do this one. I was out hiking yesterday and something flew by my ear, I just heard the buzz and all of a sudden I slipped to the side and then noticed I had my guard up Randomly throwing combinations into the air: check. Shadowboxing nearly everytime I walk by the mirror on the way to the bathroom: double check. Uncontrollable urge to wrap my hands with everything? Dish towels, shirts, long socks, etc...: sadly, check.
Heh, the wrapping one is also true. I tend to like to look at my hands and see how they look in anything "wrappable"
I do this whilst cycling home from work; I keep my chin tucked in, eye's squinted (so they dont fly into my eyes), and get ready to dodge and weave!
when your standing around bored, or walking somewhere, you start pretending to skip doing the wind noise with your mouth and moving ur hands and feet...(guilty!) also guilty of most others on the thread!
........heh i like this thread its amusing. personally for me: 1 when you notice peoples movements more when walking in a public area 2 increased awareness 3 and yeah, there are definitely boxing matches as well as training moments in my sleep. i am a victim of boxing.....
Falling a asleep somewhere and having someone wake you up and when you get past the moment of you can't tell whether your asleep or awake mode you see that your hands are in a fighting position and you just woke up. Just dancing to music and the next thing you know your shadowboxing.
Feeling aggressive when hearing a bell like noise. If somebody throws a towel at you, you tend to sit down, no matter what the circumstances.
Been Boxing to long, At night before going to bed, you take your teeth out and put your mouth piece in......
Boxing too long.... ....Old boxers die hard. and when they get up at night, they trip over the spit can by the bed.
