I didn't quite know what to vote for because I was born in South Africa but moved to Switzerland about 5 years ago...hmm...
Born in Belgium, Turkish father, German mother, moved to the UK three months later. So I'd say Europe, although there are a few people who still seem to think Turkey is Asian rather than European - vaguely interesting question, as Turkey does have land in both continents. However, the same is true of Russia, while Azerbaijan (normally seen as European) has a border with Iran, like Turkey. Then again, those countries are sometimes referred to as Eurasian, due to their transcontinental status (other examples would be Georgia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus and possibly Greece, due to some of the outlying islands like the Dodecanese). But there isn't an option for that on the poll. Alternate criteria could be that many of the above mentioned countries are members of the Council of Europe (Turkey has been a member since 1949). Having transcontinental countries does somewhat blur the lines, to the extent that countries like Morocco have applied for membership of the European Union (rejected on geographical grounds). You might think "that's ridiculous, Morocco is in North Africa, they're nowhere near Europe!" But then consider that there is a country in the EU which has a border with Brazil: French Guiana. Currency there is the Euro, which is kinda unusual for South America.
