Aye, sounds like Wu Shu/Kuo Shu/CMA.

 

FYI, Wu shu=martial technique. So, saying "is it wushu" would be akin to sayin "is it martial arts."

Many forms of wuyi teach those weapons including the one I study, praying mantis.

 

yeah i know wushu covers many arts but i was just trying to whittle it down to a main type of MA instead of asking the question in the kung fu section when in fact i should've posted it in the TKD section for example.
