If you actually are native American and callin' yourself 'injin' then you're doing a disservice to your people and your culture.

In order to receive benefits for being a Native American you need to be able meet the criteria of being more than 1/4 Native American as defined by the Bereau of Indian Affairs office.

It'd be nice if more of the people who say their native American actually bothered to contribute to the native American community.

if you ever decide to pursue it... you should start here:
    http://www.oiep.bia.edu/
    http://www.doi.gov/bureau-indian-affairs.html
Canada has a very similar system if you based in Canada.

err... perhaps you could start by typing a legible sentence. ;)

Your assertion that native Americans have 'hurt themselves so much' shows you haven't got a clue about what your blabbing on about. You're taking something completely out of context. Not uncommon for those with wild and rather ill informed fantasies about native Americans.

    Your full of it...

On one hand you say that you yourself regularly go to the DOI and BIA.edu site and read... yet on the other hand you say no one uses it and therefore I don't know what I'm talking about.

Since you can't seem to figure it out... anyone who's dealing with establishing their native American ancestry has to deal with the DOI. Additionally the BIA.edu site is the starting point for understanding what's available in terms of educational grants and scholarships for native Americans. Yet you claim nobody uses them.

    Riiiiiiiiight. :bang:

I suggest you quit while your behind.

Carys Picts did not speak Welsh - they spoke Pictish which while related to Welsh was a different Brythonic language with it's own grammar and syntax. The term "Welsh" was a name originally applied to Romanised British, It did not mean Cymraeg till much later. The picts existed as a separate ethnic group - probably from pre Roman times to around the 8th century at least.

BTW the biggest settlement of Angles was in Scotland/Northumbria so the English started in Scotland :)
They were brought in by the
Romans who payed a Brythonic tribe called the Gododdin to leave to make room for them- they went from Edinburgh to Catterick then on to North Wales, the story of this migration is the oldest surviving piece of Welsh literature in existence.
