Buy A-Z of Judo by Syd Hoare, published by Ippon Books
Every Aspiring Judoka should have it, its infinitely useful.

Why do you need them leegreg? You trying to learn from books again? Have you looked at the Judo resources? It was created so that you can actually search for things yourself.

Don't know them. How exactly do you know they're useful if you don't know them?

Can you double check the spelling of those please.

    Cheers. :)

I checked the throws out on the Judo information site, they appear there with those spellings, but only by name. I've not heard of them otherwise.

I asked about the spelling because I found Hikkomi Gaeshi.

    Cheers. :)

Probably the same thing then. Like the difference between Tsuki-komi jime and tsukkomi jime.

He doesn't like having to look for things, he wants them dropped in his lap instead.

LeeGreg.. Its been said before, and I'll say it again...

    Get thee to G-O-O-G-L-E!

So a cross between tomo-nage and sumi-gaeshi by the looks of it.

Daki Wakare is a bit like a tackle from the side. It is done when uke is on his hands and knees or raising from all fours. Tori attacks from the side grabbing both hands around uke's waist (or gi/belt) and diving over uke pulling him and rolling until tori is on top.

I've another Hikikomi-Gaeshi (Backfall Reversal) avi showing technique in a JJ application. Forgetting the final wrist lock, the throw looks very different to the first clip?? -

DUDE! It's a Sumi Gaeshi with a back grip. Ooooh...now I want to go wake up my brother so I can try this out...

Lots of people actually do Hikki komi gaeshi and think they're doing Sumi Gaeshi!

    Common mistake!

That's actually very true. You'd be surprised how many Japanese judoka mix the two up as well.
