Ok... we need to lighten things up around here. I give you.... The Curse of Chubbs: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hfg7b4tNNGU"]YouTube[/ame] I'm not sure what brought this video about. It seems OIV Productions is a small film studio here in Austin, Texas. I don't know if they approached SBN Perry or he them or just how it came about, but here you are. I've been meaning to ask SBN the backstory behind this video's creation, but every time I'm at the dojang either he's not there or he's busy or I forget to ask. Anyway, this was shot at our school, so the background/set isn't exactly high-budget but gives you a small tour of the dojang. . But the action is good and the dialog/dubbing is funny. If you want to see the "movie backstory" you can find it here (NB: the site is a little "raw" and some might find it off-color in terms of taste): http://www.oivproductions.com/chubbs.html One good thing about the site tho is it has a better quality QuickTime version of the movie: http://www.oivproductions.com/video/The Curse of Chubbs.mov
LOL!! I think I've seen this, a couple of years ago. Except I had just started weapons training, so I didn't have much of an idea what they were doing... Way cool, thank you for sharing!
hahahaha... loved it!!!! I really want to make my own now!!! Loved the camera work and the out of sync dubbing. Fantastic
Looks like someone got off their backsides and did what I talked about for years Well done, that was dead funny
