[Tang Soo Do] 1st Gup to Cho-Dan

    I couldn't agree more. I never had any numbers on my belt until we joined the ITF and then suddenly I had a number on my belt adn a number on my back when I tested. Now come on, I am testing for 4th dan - drop the number and make it a bit more personal.

    Oh well, it is the business of martial arts and I never liked the business end of it.

    not quite sure if your saying that u like the Dan numbering system.... or trying to tell me i shouldnt speak this way ?

    Speak how you like 38463, I was totally aggreeing with you, numbers are for book keeping, names are for identifying people we intereact with, "dont go there meant" dont remind me of the impersonal past numbers made!
    The trouble with typing is, it is too impersonal and it is difficult to assess the mood and tone of the typing?
    Top tip: "Keep life simple, so others can simply live!"
