All the kata you do have something that people refer to as blocks in them. That may not be the best translation. How they are referred to may also not be the real intention either, and therein lies a key point about the interpretation of kata "There are no blocks in karate." Mitch
Usami's kata was perfect that fact she scored high on such. I'm not into competition kata as well but many karate federations have it including the Shotokan Karate organization where I used to train. And some of them are really nice to watch.
