Hello, I know nothing about Tai Chi but I am interested in it. My Grandmother has Parkinsons disease and recently, as part of her treatment, she started doing Tai Chi. I was wondering two things. One, what kind of style of Tai Chi would she most likely be doing? Second, do you think it will help her get better? Thanks

Hi there - I have worked with older people for some years, but haven't come across Parkinson's yet. It's impossible to say what style without any further information. She may possibly actually be doing Chi Gung (lots of different spellings). Could I direct you to a couple of other more useful sites? This forum does tend to be martial based.

I see you're not based in the UK, so that's the best I can do.
    Good luck
