Only because I've been off investigating Ah, Xenforo, what vBulletin 4 was supposed to be if memory serves right. Created by the original Jelsoft team. I experimented with it on another project when it was first released. Inline thread updates are handy like (Saz posted while I was typing this and it showed up without refreshing the page).
That's nice, I didn't know it did that. It's got a lot of cool features, I'm impressed with it so far.
I see an icon on the toolbar for saving a draft of a post too, could be handy for longer posts on sketchy 'net connections. No permission to edit my profile but there'll be more important things to finish setting up than that I'd have thought.
Mobile version works spot on too. Quick, fluid. Just need the place to get busier so I want to catch up more than a couple of times a week. must...not...go...back...into... testing...mode...
Well done and thanks to all those who put in the time and effort to get this new look MAP up and running. I'm sure it'll be a much more dynamic place with the new design and some of the old features back ! Going to nip off now and have a shufty around see what's what
I think you need to check with Aegis and Saz before you say that - they will remember what happens when I go into testing mode! At least I'm not as familiar with Xenforo as I was with the vBulletin community when I was testing that so I don't know the common issues. Crikey, it's been around eight years since I last spent time with Xenforo :|
Oh... good lord. Yay? (No offence, Mitch. You're a lovely bloke and all. Just, uh... too much man for me I'm afraid. )
'Tis a right purty thing y'all gots here. erm..... No biscuits? Crisco? Nuttin? (ps; thanks for the trophies ;-) )
Wow, I don't log on that often and this is a surprise. Look nice and seems easy to use. I could also change my avatar.
Hmm, I had the old url (.../forums) bookmarked, and always logged in there, but it doesn't work. Just for grins I came here and -- hey, you're here! Who knew?
