Ban cars, all the car related deaths would be prevented and 97% of the motorcycle related ones would disappear too.
I understand that point he is trying to make but I think economic necessity will trump this one. As petrol gets more and more expensive, I am willing to bet that the number of motocycles being sold will increase. I know I want to get a bike down here but my wife is very afraid of the idea. I had a bike when we met and she had no issues with it then. Since we lost my brother-in-law 3 years ago in a motorcycle accident, his fault, my wife blames the terrible drivers around here. I learned to ride driving in and around Wash. D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis. Ask Cait about the drivers in the D.C. Metro area! I know, sooner or later, I will be back on 2 wheels again!

Yeah, ban us pesky bikers so the cagers can continue to drive and: read, do crosswords, jabber on cell phones, stuff their faces, play computer game and whatever else cagers like to do other than pay attention to the road.
what a crock. People who ride do so out of choice and know the dangers, they know you can be killed. That’s life, so why take away someone’s freedom like that? These people need to get a life and stop denying others theirs. People die in car crashes, one death is too many, so why dont we go ahead and ban cars too? Life is a risk, there is no such thing as safety. It's the same idiots like this who call for boxing or MMA to be banned, they should just keep their noses out, flippin do gooders. Christ thats really annoyed me!
Bikers have more respect for each other and look out for each other more. It's the guys in the cars who "forget" to look for bikes. Bikes are better all the way round for economy and emmisions. If you have a family; get an electric car Bikes over cars anyday!

Wing them at the vehicle of course. Usually at the driver's window or door. I like the idea of the marbles and hard candy too...
Let's see... people want to ban guns, swords, motorcycles, kitchen knives... basically anything that carries an element of risk. In effect, we're banning people's right to make their own decisions. You can't legislate against stupidity. It will always be there. Best regards, -Mark
same here, I rode my bike, illegally I must say, for 2yrs, and fuel costs were halved and travel time was cut dramatically too
