With the loss of Fish of Doom, Chimpcheng and Mushroom from the MOD Team we decided it was time to review the rest of the gang, which is something we do periodically. John Titchen, ap Oweyn and dormindo aren't as active as they once were, so they have stepped down from the role. That said they have been told the position is theirs should they ever want it back in the future. We did discuss whether we needed another team member, someone who is a lot more active on here, but after deciding that a promotion to the MOD team can lead to a drop in in post count we decided against it. That's not to say one of you wont be getting a PM in the future asking if you want to join us
My post count dropped when I turned mod as I felt it would be bias of me weigh in and borderline egg on derailment if I was a mod.
I deal with that by making it extra clear when I write as a regular member and................. Mod note: When I write as a moderator. My post count is the same. Since I seem to be the only one, I wonder what that says about me? But then again, I am not one of the most prolific posters in the first place with non mod posts.
Yeah you shouldn't change your opinions on something just because you have authority. Good for you for keeping regular!
