last week I lost a true friend, Bill Curry who had been training with me for the past twenty odd years. Affectionately christened "the godfather" (by me) he was a great bear of a man and shall be sadly missed by all who knew him. regards koyo
My condolences, the loss of a long-time friend is not an easy thing to go through. Unfortunately there is still one enemy that no martial art can yet defeat, and it has claimed yet another, but we must endure and carry on. Such is life. My thoughts are with you, sensei Coyle.
Koyo Sorry to hear about your loss, my condolence and thoughts are with you. Its hard to lose a good friend. Aikipad
Very sad news Koyo. It sounds like you have a wealth of good memories to revisit when remembering your friend. Condolences to you and all Bill's family and friends. Mitch
Rest in peace, Mr. Curry. My condolences to all who cared for him. May his teachings allow him to live on in his students and friends.
Now I know why I like this brat kid see I can still smile. The guys from the makotokai came down and we spent a whole night smiling and telling "godfather stories." My thanks to you all for the support. regards koyo
