Yes I agree 100% on both counts. its just you didn't seem to be around so I thought i'd help ya out. Lets stick to the topic please. why does the conversation always have to dwindle to personal attacks on each other?
I wasn't around. I was at Johns Hopkins getting the last remnants of a kidney transplant removed. Finally back to being all me (except for the bit that formerly belonged to my wife). So I'm paying closer attention now. Let's keep this friendly and on topic, if everyone pleases.
Jeez man! I hope you are doing better. I had a surgery in my lower abdominal region bout two months back. They had me on some really serous pain meds and I still didn't move for a week. I can only imagine what a kidney transplant would hurt like.
Not perfectly sustainable, but not necessarily an imminent crisis. The world is in a period of slow growth after a recession right now. Once the world economy expands again that deficit could be entirely swallowed by the resultant rise in GDP. However drastic cuts to public spending harm GDP (just look at the "double dip" recession that occurred in the UK) and can therefore INCREASE deficit.
two things. 1. I don't worry about the debt anymore. I used to but I don't know. I figured out that they are going to fix it and it is going to happen soon. it'll be great for the country but bad if you have any money in the bank. if you have any large amounts of $$$ I would invest in solid, tangible assets like gold or land. 2. Please stay on topic or the mod is gona close the thread.
Nope. There are a lot of intelligent people in Texas. I was punning on the accent. Did you go and research the knife laws in the area?
All joking aside, according to the Bible, the first church was openly communist. Of course it predates the movement we know as communism, but giving all your property to the church which freely distributes it according to the needs of its members is pretty familiar. On the other hand, despite being portrayed as pacifist martyrs today, at least some of them were quite well armed for the time, and with Jesus's blessing. Disagreement is great, but obliterating nuance, contradiction and detail in order to bring evidence in line with your own world view is stupid.
