Good stuff as usual AJ. Do you reckon it would be worth starting a new thread with all these in or me moving them across as a Wado reference point? It's so hard to find decent clips online of it, that it might be handy to have something to refer people to here on MAP if you're willing?
Hi Sam, That would be fine, "however" I have my own website where everything and more is posted, see the url on the videos bottom. Or is that not what you mean? Best regards, AJ

hi Wado-AJ regarding the ashi dori video, on those movements where you kick the opponent's front leg, have you considered maybe entering a bit more (since you're already striking, by entering to close range you would dramatically increase the effect of the kuzushi created by the punch) and kneeing instead of kicking? a knee to the thigh or groin tends to hurt a lot more than a close range kick, it puts a lot more weight behind the blow, and enables you to directly proceed to the step and takedown, rather that having to rechamber the kick first.

Hey AJ, Good work as usual. On the Te-dori, Hakoishi teaches this with a brace against the right hip prior to applying the Ude Gatame. You dont seem to do this, is there a reason why? Gary
Hi Gary, As you can see I have shown 2 variations. One that my sensei does (like Mr. Suzuki's) and the 'wado-kai' version. I like the wado-kai version as well, because ukemi is more unbalanced at the first move. The lock however, is not in the version i'm used to. As you can see, the way i'm controlling his arm upon pushin away implies my possibility of the lock. I see this as ohyo or henka waza. Perhaps you could call it hidden. There is no need to do so since this doesn't affect the objective. between you and me , I don't like to re-grip.
