My friend had a cat called Mikita. But she (the cat, not the friend!) was a bit of a psycho, so I used to call her Sadako.....
Totoro of course! If you like cat's and you haven't seen Studio Ghibli's "My Neighbor Totoro (Tonari no Totoro).then your missing out!!! Run! Don't walk - to your nearest decent video store and check this one out. An all time classic. Great name for a cat as well!
Warning: Veering dangerously off topic What is the appeal of that damn movie? I watched it with my girlfriend last year and while I enjoyed it as I have pretty much all the Studio Ghibli films it just had no point and pretty much nothing happened. I know its a very Japanese orientated film and I get the Romantic History and Shinto themes but Totoro is actually kinda creepy, he looks like he eats kids! PLUS the cat bus would have freaked me out as a kid, I mean you have to actually get inside it to drive around; who wants to be inside a cat! On a related note I still must confess to having some Totoro merchandise sitting around my room. Im such a hippocrite .
