Sorry, I know this is slightly from left field, but I couldn't resist! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4Fe0T-XhQ4"]Batleth Kata by Joe of Satori Dojo - YouTube[/ame]
Learning terminology probably isn't that hard. I'd guess that the toughest part would probably be traveling to the hombu-dojo for training with the seniors; I don't believe we've invented the technology to do so yet.
Good evening, and welcome to Koga-ryu! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jJP3SKu7WE"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jJP3SKu7WE[/ame]

I'm afraid I have to agree Steve, that one is definitely the front runner! However, I have to admire the fellow's courage (or wonder at his stupidity) to place a video of himself for the entire world to see that he is so clueless as to wear his sword upside down. My mind is definitely boggled!
Oh dear these were good. I couldnt stop laughing during the first video. Funny choice for the background music.
you see, the green fairy uses the hadou and possesses them to writhe in ecstasy when using a blade. i believe it's called a split chi. at least that's what my dog said after watching the clips.
Oooh.... never seen so many kasso teki slain in such a confined space.... Given the upside down sword I assume the inventor of the kata saw one of the kobudo demos where the practioner is in armour and wearing tachi koshirae?
I'd assume that the sword position is more due to him having no business being anywhere near a sword, let alone demonstrating or teaching...
And just to show that it's not just Westerners who have a go at making stuff up.... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvyOLxRNkQ0"]抜刀~神速より~ - YouTube[/ame] Scott, Steve? What do you make of this?
