Ask a magistrate of a city or county in the area of interest. They (or some similar title) are the legal authority to whom police take arrested subjects to, to be criminally charged. Who better to know what's illegal?
i think its disgusting that weapons are illegal, we can't all be martial arts masters(i mean what if you're afraid of being assaulted)
