It depends on the organization that the Boxer is in because many diffrent Boxing organizations have diffrent payments in Boxer's fights.
Join a reputable Boxing Gym and ask there. They will know the answers. Just like any other sport, in reality, it is an extremely small numbers of Boxers that 'make it' in the pro ranks.
A friend of mine who was a extremely good amatuer got offered the opertunity to turn pro, he was also an electrician. He declined the offer because he would earn more money over 5 years as a sparky!
From what i heard your pay is very low unless you actually get a few fights and are pretty good as Freeform says you can earn more money as an electrician generally
