пожалуйста! (You're welcome, so I dont get banned for foreign language use) :p

Thanks very much by the way for remembering I had studied a bit of Russian for 4 years. :D I loved this. :)

С днем рожденния! (happy birthday, or, literally, 'with day of birth')

By the way Kuma, the russian word for bear is Медвед (pronounced medved)

Thought you might like to know that. :D

Молодец! (lit. "good fellow", but somewhat more nuanced and idiomatic) FYI, "medved" has a soft sign(мягкий знак) as an ending...so-медведь. I don't think "medved" is a good transliteration because the vowel stress and pronunciaiton is different than the English. Hard to explain...I would have to say it to you. If you can pronounce Russian president Dmitri Medvedev's name, you've pretty well got it. :)

Yes I forgot the soft sign. D'oh.

I can pronounce his name :)

i know medved isnt exactlythe right way to say it often translit sucks :p but sort of.

Im familiar with soft sign, I just forgot it (have not spoken russian in soooo long)

but its in many words, and names too, such as Зинoвьев ("Zinoviev")

Most people's 'happy birthday' threads go on for a few days. To stretch it to a week is just being greedy.

Or more popular than me.
