ooo excitement. Tomorrrow I collect my JAZZMASTER!!! woooooooooo oh man, I'm gonna treat it like it's made out of tinfoil. Indestructible aluminium case methinks. a jazzmaster! oh man, these guitars are the best guitars I have ever played. Smooth neck, good scale length, nice pickups. The only major prob. I have with them is the bridge. But I'm gonna fit a Gibson Fixed bridge to it. oh it will be mine, oh yes it will.
Ah yeah, Been playing it lots today, it's so much nicer sounding than my old guitar it's quite amusing.
My old guitar was an Aria Pro Mk II basic strat rip off with 2 single coils and 1 humbucker, 24 frets. It wasn't a bad guitar, it's just that the jazzmaster is in a different league.
I like to try out different styles. Basically a load of stuff I like playing Lots of Smashing Pumpkins (any album woooo) Metallica (Strictly Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning I'm afraid) Red Hot Chili Peppers (blood sugar sex magic, nice pseudofunk) Beck ( pretty much any of his stuff, a big variety of music) System of a down (1st album) Pantera (RAWORIOWWORR!) Stevie Ray Vaughan (Texas Flood) Jeff Buckley and of course, my own compositions. So I guess I don't really play any more styles than rock and heavy rock.
