I practiced the art when i was very young started at around 15 years old and did a year and a half before the school closed.

I remember that its a point sparring art but in the class it was free fight, so there was continuous fighting. Not full contact but enough to practice sparring.

Pros: where we practice a lot of punching, kicking.

Cons: We never hit the bags or targets, kicking was never done to the head, we never kicked higher then waist high. And kicks where very basic, Mae Geri, wheel kick and back kick.

There are also a lot of time spent on kata.

Not sure if the art as evolved since 1986.

As for me i am 38 right now and looking for an art to practice, i am not looking into full contact because my back was injured and i dont want to get injured again.
