i am just wondering why people used dipped foam sparring gear for itf taekwondo in sparring competition while other competeors used the like to top ten foot pads and gloves (full contact )and other used dipped foam and pu foam gloves and foot pads would depend where you are competing in the world i am just wondering
not safety . where i train there is 3 type people used in completeion full contact type pu gloves and kick boots dipped foam
Most tournaments and orgs have their minimum required standard as long as it meets that standard you can wear what you want. Top Ten is considerably more pxpensive than dipped foam
