Question, I just pulled my arm in the shower (nice image, also in before any "happy time" jokes) so I'm getting sorted a doctors appointment hopefully but I'm googling physhio and I'm stuck. The site lists everythnig they do as follows: Obviously this is a sport injury but is there any other of those that needs to be available?
Animal therapy will probably be YOUR best bet !!!! Look for sports related injuries specialists .. SMurf
What sites are you viewing today ?? Please ensure you clean the keyboard after use at that public library you are now in !!!! Smurf
That's key really, you get impatient, reason yourself into doing something risky and before you know it your injury is 10x worse and recovery time is even longer. Part of me loves the way it's as hard to get half the population to start exercising as it is to get the other half to stop!
Good site thanks dude. Got an appointment for tomorrow morning with my GP hopefully get a referral plus finally found a coupleof light physhio exercises which are making me feel better. Whoever said learning about the injury helps you were right this is some interesting stuff
I'm sure if the non-exercising half knew how much fun can be had hitting people in a safe, legal and socially acceptable way, they'd be just as addicted as the rest of us
I was about to say: referral from GP and probably they'll send you to your nearest hospital thats got rehab/physiotherapy dept. It'll probably take less than a week (depending) to get you started. I had to wait a few weeks for mine as I had to wait for a MRi scan and speak to a knee surgeon, slipping in the shower also didnt help and 2nd journey into A&E. I kept myself sane by watching TV series that I havent seen (West Wing), lots of films (Vengeance Trilogy), Guitar Hero as well as other domestic upkeeps (what I could do). Physically I kept in check by going to my classes and watching. Which was bittersweet as I wanted to do more but couldnt. But as I got better I would be like the coach's assistant. Holding pads, going over techs with the beginners etc. The main thing that got me going was my physiotherapy nurse.......she was a hottie!
Thanks 'Shroom, But you know she gets flirted with every day my chances are slim Completely off topic but since you do freestlye: Is it a good idea to buy wrestling shoes before I try?
Did it! It's harder than it looks - especially co-ordinating the breathing. Started learning this form: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saPQ6wf4eCw"]YouTube - Chen Taijiquan - Laojia Yi Lu (part 1)[/ame]
I forgot to mention that I hate dealing with time out. 5 minutes on the naughty step feels like 5 hours Mitch
awesome! now you need to spend a couple months with van zandt and then go to china and learn zhaobao [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79lfEBj2Ohs"]YouTube - Zhao Bao Taiji[/ame]
actually it's just that performance (in a wushu competition, afaik, which would explain a lot), but i wanted to be cheeky
Off topic reply: I never had any problems. I got mine from here http://www.specialistsports.com/sho...970&page=1&dept=WRES&type=WAAB&ud1=&ud2=&ud3=
