Just thought I'd let you all know I'm taking my weary band of travelers to Nottingham this weekend to partake in some mutual gladatorial battle!!! Wish us luck. Throat strikes and Kidney shots legal. Shins and arm pads compulsory but gumshields not! One of my students remarked. "Is John Wayne running this competition?" Saddle up rawhide! Here we go!

Success! Okalily doakily we update here. I might write something more if coerced. Quick run down for the club As far as I can remember.......(Saturday meant much partying) the club did brilliantly. Total: 11 Medals Gold: 5 Silver: 2 Bronze: 4 Titles: British Uni's Male Black/Red/Blue belt Heavy Weight Sparring Champion British Uni's Female Blue/Red Heavy Weight Sparring Champion British Uni's Female Blue/Red Destruction Champion British Uni's Female White/Yellow Patterns Champion Not bad for playing away from home (Edinburgh) eh? Those English beggers don't like it up 'em!

How many medals does everyone have? I havn't been to a competition in 3 years. It's been a while for me. I have 40 medals.
Yeah Nottingham was a great weekend. It was my first competition and even though I didn’t win any medals it was a great place to go. Mr Tosh hasn’t mentioned that he was the black belt sparring champion and well deserving of it too. Hope a lot more people will be at the BSTF competition next year, I know I will be.
