My first phone was a Motorolla talk about. Then the Nokia 5110 came out and started the nokia craze. Texting on this beast gave you ONE LINE to work with, no games, and very limited ringtones! Had it for ages though, until a friend's mum got her a contract and I bought her 3210 for a tenner I remember texting a girl I fancied late at night on this...
It was great, try pushing a cartoon these days where the good guys in vehicles fight the evil organic plant aliens. I still suspect it was funded by the oil industry. edit: The Infamous brick phone!
Oh... Well, it's all the stone age to me now. :hat: Thing I was getting at was how really every kid with a phone that I knew had a Nokia. Oh, what about the Razor scooter craze?
Razor scooter? I remember snakeboards... oh, and skateboards with only one tail! Do young girls still wear jelly shoes? And here's one - when penny sweets actually cost a penny. Who used to find a penny in their pocket and walk in to a newsagent to buy ONE penny sweet?!
This is THE Nokia phone of the 90s... Pretty much Twitter... gotta love technological improvement hey!
I remember when Cartoon Network went 24hrs! Before that you had to put up with Nickelodeon (who only had one channel back then) switching off at 7pm for Paramount! The things we had to put up with back then!! Who remembers this: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir6nAEmIiJQ"]YouTube - Are you Afraid of the Dark? - The Curious Camera Part 1[/ame] Edit... Is that Finch from American Pie! haha

what a programme! I remember watching channel 5's place holder for months before it actually came out. I remember when the simpsons first came to the UK terrestrial TV. I remember when REN AND STIMPY were on BBC2 at 6pm instead of BBC random at 4am
The beloved 90's. Where we had a Poll Tax riot in London, Stonehenge was blocked off from Druids and hippies, the caring in the community that failed. Dunblaine killings, IRA bombs in Manchester. M people being the top band and sounding rubbish. Cobain tasted the inside of a shotgun and brought an end to the Grunge movement. Music was good in the indie scene: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM__XvVDvH4"]YouTube - Carter USM - Sheriff Fatman[/ame] James was wonderful. .......................... I used to watch Bobby's World every morning before school. And thankfully the 90's led way to that freak of a show 'Pee-wees Playhouse' taking a nose dive.
Hahaha Neil. Legend. The outside shot of the house in the Young Ones is my Unlce's house in Bristol! </claim to fame>
Oh... my... god... nostalgia overload! Man I had the phone and skates that already featured in this thread. "Changes" by 2pac was the first video I watched on The Box tv channel when we had to use a set-top box Some more memories..... The Power Rangers pilot episode and when the cast featured on GMTV (or was it TVAM?) in their camel-toe revealing spandex outfits The Rugrats SWAT Kats on Cartoon Network "Three Ninjas" movie (Colt was my favourite character) The fuss when Jurassic Park first came out
SWAT KATS! HAHAHAHA. What a programme that was. Never have cats looked so much like body builders. Or, if will Smith had fur in Bad Boys...
