I don't normally get involved in the "this person" beats "that person" or this style beats that style (you all feel my pain right?). But I did come across an interesting ranking of the greatest martial artists in all history (very apples to oranges but I digress). I found it amusing because, according to the public, the first few rankings on the list are actors. This makes sense to a certain degree but it also shows that while mixed martial arts has gained a lot of popularity over the past 20 years we are still a "niche" sport compared to most others.
So Michael Jai White is so awesome that he makes the list twice, at spot #13 as well as #38? That in itself discredits the entire list. I do, however, agree that Bruce Lee is the greatest [of all time]. What one man did for the entire sport of martial arts (as a whole) as well as the movie industry can't be overlooked.
Jesus...Michael Jai White is a better martial artist than Jigoro Kano? In what universe was this poll conducted?
And 9, and 3, and 81, and 33, and..... (and for those who are thinking 81 is more than 50....hah, you know nothing!)
