Best Football Management Game for the PC

I am currently considering buying a Footie Management game for my PC.

My question is - What one would you recommend and why??

 

Football manager 2005. Goes into far more depth than any game i've seen. While not having played Championship manager 5 i've not heard good reports. I especially like the bit where you can interact with the other managers i especially like giving abuse to whoever happens to be the unfortunate soul who's celtic team is being constantly gubbed by my mighty gers

Football Manager 2005 is good.

 

What he said, FM2005 is made by the people who made all the other CM games.
CM5 therefore is not and is apparently pants.

 

Been asking around in work and it seems that FM2005 is the way to go

I did like the first of the ea series, although i do like the new TCM's i wouldnt recomend them as there are just to many errors and bugs in the 2005 game.
