19 isn't too old at all, most gyms won't accept people untill their 18 anyway.

What gyms are nearby/ where are you based?

I started at 21. I'm 28 (my birthday today actually) I've fought 10 times. Going to fight 2 or 3 times this year.

You're still a teenager for Christ sake!

Find a good gym in your local area and get started. You'll be just fine.

I think this is quite a normal age to start any training. You're not going to fight professional fighters.

I'm 28 with martial arts experience and I think I'm too old to start but that won't stop me from competing mma. In my opinion it's about how hard you are willing to work. Could be wrong but hey doesn't hurt to try.. Right? Lol

It's never too late to start something new! That's a great age to start!
