Hi Everybody! I am Nikki, and the sport I excersise is karate. I am training karate now for about 11 years with a lot of enthousiasm. I live in Leeuwarden, that's in the very north of the Netherlands. I excersise the style Hayashi ****oryu but I began in Kyokushinkai. I changed my style for my competitions. I compete a lot national and international. But not all of my kata's or from the same style. Some are Hayashi ****oryu some are from ****okai and one is from Gojukai. So I got a lot of kata's from a few styles. I'm by the way not the only one who's doing that. But mostly my kata's come from Hayashi ****oryu. From next month I will only perform kata's from ****okai. I got two teachers out of two different countries. My first teacher (who taught me everything I know) is Raymond Snel 6th Dan, and my second teacher, which is also a good friend of mine is, Petra Nova from the Tsjech Republic. I don't know if you know her, but she was European Champion kata juniors in 2000 or 2001 (don't remember so quikly ) Are here more karateka's who perform kata's national and international on a high level? Well, this had to be a short introduction but it turned out to be quite a lot longer hihi. Ow yes, by the way, I forgot to mention. I've got the 1st Dan (black belt).
