I think we all rock out to this song. And we all know somebody like the guy the song is about. [ame="www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzY2Qcu5i2A"]The Offspring - Pretty Fly (For A White Guy) - YouTube[/ame]

Real men cry when they hear that last one. It's supposed to hurt.

And Garth Brooks "Friends in Low Places" (from 1990) is in the list too, but YouTube doesn't have the real version. :woo:

And no, Britney Spears does not belong in the list. She's terrible.

There was a lot of excellent pop punk coming out of the states in the 1990s, but I wouldn't count the Offspring amongst it.

I like how AikiMac is slowly but surely turning this into the 'Easy Listening' thread. He'll end up with Val Doonican at this rate! :D

A cunning attempt to disguise your true intentions! But Bryan Adams, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion were dead giveaways. At least you drew the line at Phil Collins.

Hey, there's no accounting for taste. :D
I also complained that Los Angeles radio stations suck. That's what they play from the 90's.

But honestly, I do like those particular songs that I picked, except for "Kiss From a Rose" (boring song!). I will admit to that. And now that you mention it, I can't think of anything "classic" by Phil Collins from the 90's.
