1st tourney, 2 1st place victories! :)

Just got back from this year's karate and kobudo (long weapons division-bo staff in particular) tourney. I took 1st in both events in my age/rank category (kata in both). Also got some shiny new medals. My sempai got video of some of it, which I will share when I get it.

Lucky bugger! Videos buffer for me all the time-primarily youtube-ers, though. The other sites seem to work better.

Sorry to say I don't know much about the katas you did so I can't comment much on anything. Awesome posting your stuff up though! Somebody needs to tell Fish of Doom he's got competition in the lion's mane category!

 

lol I don't care for the user name anymore, but I haven't had time to change it. I just picked it because it's easy to remember and I wasn't smart about usernames back then. Plus I link all my artwork from there to my blog. It would be a major pain in the **** to change now, ya know. :bang:

BTW, my lion's mane is more impressive when I don't have it in a ponytail. I only tied it for the occasion.
