    Hi Guys,

Just had my first German longsword class yesterday and WOW!!

Unlike a certain PC operating system this does have the WOW effect!

Can't wait for the next class.

No need to struggle with eastern mindset and translation or cultural differences this just makes sense. Unlike OJ the glove fits.

Big thanks to George and his guys for the welcome and his enthusiasim is infectious.

    Regards

    Dude
    you is most welcome.

I think the german mindset carrys over well to our generations.

Just glad I can get over how I feel about the weapon and the system. Wait till we get more kit ... it gets positively medieval on yo ass! :D

    Hi George...

As long as we don't have to wear the medieval costumes..... ;)

any more of that LP and I'll do training in my hose and ankle boots.

That is a damn good vid although there are times you really want to slow it down. Some of that is late period I think Talhoffer, but most of it carries back without any change ... including a schielhau about 17 secs in. least I think it was a schielhau! and a krumphau at 1:15!

I do plan on getting some turnshoes for training, actually. I've heard it really affects one's footwork. :)

    Best regards,
