The best zombie weapon is clearly a shovel sharpened on one edge. The haft can be used to ward them off while the head has enough heft to get into the brain when swung. It can also be used to clear snow and mud from around your escape vehicle should it get stuck. It can even be used to tend the garden you'll need to make at your fort position when supplies of food are running out and you need to cultivate some vegetables.
Well there you go. That too. A great combo would be a forward bayonet type stab with the leading edge (which might even do the job if you catch the neck and sever the brain stem) to put them on the deck and then a downward digging motion to take the head off. Finish with an arcing swing to finish to clear your immediate area of zombies and you've got a great little anti-zombie weapon kata to help keep you sharp and fit.
