Yay for me.

    Today I squatted more than my bodyweight for 3 reps (I weigh 192lbs and squatted 195lbs) ... That's a big improvement from my 135lbs triple I did last week...

    Granted, I know a lot of it is my muscles getting used to being used this way ... But still, it got me excited. =D

    Congrats, bro. :D

    I have to agree that it's probably notsomuch a matter of you getting 60-pounds stronger in a week, but a combination of conditioning, confidence, and technique. Either way, it's great progress. :woo: Keep doing what you're doing.

    Congratulations. :)

    My deadlift has more than doubled, going up almost 90 pounds in the two months since I started. (Yes, I know. A 90 pound increase shouldn't more than double my old lift.) I think at least half of it is the technique, confidence, etc., as BeWater said, but I definitely feel stronger too. What would have been a tough lift for me two months ago feels easy now. Especially in my squat.
