not even close, ufc 1 the ref refused to allow the corner of a fighter to throw in the towel, and when they did he used it to mop his head and throw it back out and the fight continued
What about that fight where the Kevin Burns started pretty blatantly eye poking Rumble Johnson, and when Johnson turned to the ref to complain after the third or fourth time, Burns was awarded a TKO?
I'd take 10 of these calls over some of the absurdly late stoppages we've seen. I think it's complete nonsense that the commission wont review the decision. The fight should be declared a NC. If the nationality of the fighters was reversed, it would have been reversed before the fighters had reached the dressing room.
