Does anyone suggest anything particular for a warmup before lifting? I usually just go in there, stretch a bit and lift... Should I do a stairmaster first or something? =D

Dynamic stretching, go through the range of motion of the exercise your gonna perform, about 50% of working weight. Stay away from static stretching before, do it after.

    Did you mean Static Stretching?

  4. That's what he said!

Dynamic atthe beginning, static at the end. :)

I start out with rolling my arms forward, backward, up and down and in and out. That gets my upper body warmed up well. I then do some twists to each side and finish up with some high knee raises to get my lower body and hips warmed up.

Some skipping and Power Yoga. Look for Ken Shammrock's book on the idea in a book store, then buy a DK book of a third of the price and go it from there.
