Aside from wing chun, which other styles use a wooden dummy? JKD?

JKD uses a modified wing chun dummy. Choi li fut has its own. I've even seen some mantis guys use one.

Sometimes kendo, modified a little (it needs a helmet on top, and a glove on the arm), to help with aim.

I trained for a short time in Pai-lum Kung Fu, we had a wooden dummy that was different from the wing chun types ive seen. It was wall mounted, and the top part slid left and right, as well as the bottom.

The 木樁 is a general term for the wooden targets, 木人樁 means wooden stick figures used for practice in many Chinese martial arts, but the image of the popular Wing Chun version is modern creation and from what I have read, Ip Man's own design.

There is an associated Shaolin legend of 少林木人巷, The Shaolin Wooden Men who were supposedly a type of gauntlet test or target range of 木人樁 figurines used as a test of Shaolin training, something that has been popularized in TV, movies, and so forth. In some portrayals, it is a highly advanced machinery attacking the monk, in others, it's simply a room filled with movable (possibly pulley and lever activated) wooden striking posts that the monk must attack, avoid, and so on. The legend appears to be shared between many different Northern and Southern styles, as one of the greatest innovations of the original lost temple, a type of interactive, possibly mechanical martial arts target range.

Ip Man had only room for one small 木人樁 in his flat. :D

Choy Li Fut has multiple ones, not just one. Click on the following link, then scroll to the bottom where it says Dummy forms. Then click on them to see images of them.

To be fair, my guess is that this is more historical than current. My school has the one that is close to the WC one, but none of the others. I saw a youtube clip of one of the more fancy ones in use at another school. But I don't think that most of them are widely used today. Maybe other CLF people here can tell me if I am wrong?

(Well, the site lists a wall bag as a wooden dummy, and my school does have those. But I don't really see it as a wooden dummy, so I am not counting that.)

It says 'Qiáng bāo zhuāng' 墻包樁 which isn't wooden dummy, more like dummy packed onto a wall.

The wall frame and slat mounts were designed by one of his friends. Before that it was a "dead" dummy because it was sunk in the ground. Because of this you also had short posts around it to practice kicking. Because of this configuration it also used to be known as a muy fa jong 槑蘤樁 (I think this is the correct characters if memory serves).

Yeah, but it is listed on the site under the category of "Dummy Forms." However, that translation fits more than how it is listed categorically on the site.

In Lung Ying the traditional wooden dummy is either a post mounted in the ground with no arms or a post mounted on a concrete base {like the old rocken sockem balloon punch toys). The first one is mounted and immovable so you need to work on stepping etc. The second is mobile so you need to work on your forearm sensitivity to control the post as you make contact as well as moving to maintain your position as you defend or attack.

A bit different than the standard WC or CLF wooden dummies.
