when to switch cycles

    hi
    i have the books convict conditioning and enter the kettlebell
    i plan to follow both programs.
    how often should i alternate between them?

    I wouldn't be switching between training programmes.

    Pick one and stay with it for a minimum of 6 weeks, 3 months would be better.
    From there you can take stock and evaluate the gains made, any weak areas, the energy and strength gains made and so on.

    With this information you can make slight changes to your routine.

    As a rule people fail because they don't stick with something that works. Slowly but continuous in the answer.

    Programs usually come with a set amount of time to do them don't they? Whatever is recommended by the program you should do (will usually be 6 -12 weeks) and then take a week off and then switch.

    After you've done both you'll have some good experience and then mix and match the best things that work for you and make a new program for your third one, or switch to some other one.
