How dare you sir! I challenge you to a duel!
long low stances, left side only, nothing to the face
I accept , as long as you announce your intended target first !
Oh crap, we said nothing to the face...
*Steps back ,age uke gyakuzuki* KIAI
Doesn't count because you were in Kamae, and not a proper kihon stance. nyah nyah!
Crap ! I've just remembered I'm training with John and Fish tomorrow.
*Angles off , blocks jodan shuto uke , steps in jodan shuto uchi* KIAI
cover and strike! Classic 'flow
Although surely tomorrow will be all gedan?
I'm avoiding the hight jokes , seeing as Fish will be punching me tomorrow anyway !
Most likely in the crotch.
Didn't you see the nut shot i landed last time I trained with John ?
I wasn't focusing on his nuts, I'm afraid
It's a pyjama party!
Oh, I don't think Llama's that camp... Maybe more of a B+
I have to admit, if I was picking a martial art based soley on the quality of it's MAP forum, I'd pick karate. You guys are way more fun than some other forums
We don't take ourselves too seriously. As shown by Moosey's ridiculous and fanciful downgrading of my skills to a B+. We all know I'm the coolest cat, apart from the cat himself, Mr. Enoeda...
(Cue Moosey's pictures)
D'oh, I was trying to pun on the word "camp" - not casting aspersions at your skillz0rz! :hat:
Moosey -5 damage on internet funnies
Now, where's Mr Enoeda in his awesome 1970s car...
That's where you've been going wrong.
Ah, my fault completely! I do apologise!
(for the rest of you who frequent the non-karate bits of MAP, an apology is where someone realises they have made a mistake and owns up to it)
I was reading some Okinawan scrolls writen in old style kanji and it was extremely clear that the original concept for Okinawan Te was knitting knee-warmers for pet parrots.
Shiver me timbers - as seen by Google translate
