Just thought I'd move this thread to the "Music" topic -- fits better here. I usually listen to classical music, but lately, I've been getting CDs of some of my favorite "classic rock" groups: Yes Traffic Jefferson Airplane/Starship Moody Blues just to name a few. More to come. I have loads of these on vinyl, but I can't play them any more. (And I'll never be able to play vinyl in my car or PC!)
Chilli Peppers U2 REM Manics Coldplay Travis Stereophonics Franz Ferdinand sounds canny too, for a band named after someone who was assasinated
I like RATM a lot better than Audioslave. Lately I've been listening to a lot of trance, probably because I've been doing more work on my computer, and since I am too lazy to set up a playlist, it's easiest just to set up a two hour trance set to play than constantly opening new songs which distracts me from doing work.
At the minute my favoutite bands are as follows!!: 1. Scars of life 2. 12 stones 3. Soil 4. Incubus 5. Mario Winans 6. Unloco 7. The Darkness 8. Kill Bill soundtrack, i know its not a band but its class! 9. Paul Weller 10. and absolutely no Tom Waits!!
Circa Summer 2004 Chili Peppers Eric Clapton Motley Crue Dio Emerson Lake and Palmer Cake Zeppelin (always) The Police Maybe if this thread gets repeated it should be more of a "What's in your CD player?" type question. That was the icebreaker at my college orientation...
Duke Ellington Count Basie John Coltrane Phillip Glass Miles Davis Charlie Parker Mozart Bach Dexter Gordon Horace Silver Johnny Hodges Debussy Benny Goodman ...just to name a random few
wen i wanna kick back: Musiq Soulchild Anthony Hamilton Alicia Keys Frankie J Wen i wanna practice da salsa! lol : Buena vista social club Various latin artists Wen i wanna get all hyped up: M.O.P Elephant Man Angie Martinez Big Pun Jus 2 name a few
