So just got a Tatami Gi. It says not to wash it over 30c. Seriously? Conflicting info on other places on Internet. Some say it'll last less time.

If I washed it at 60c, would it last at least a year? I only plan to train about twice a week so two washes a week maximum. No way I'm just washing at 30c!

Cold wash or else it will certainly shrink and you will set the blood stains!

30 °C, but also use an antibacterial laundry detergent like Dettol.

30 is fine, just put it to wash straight away, and don't leave it dirty anywhere overnight, detol etc anti bac, and a bit of softener every now and again will. Do wonders.

Ps also wash your belt at least weekly!
