Why do you feel the development of internal energy is a bona fide phenomena when suitable application of correct body mechanics accounts for pretty much every demonstration there is?

The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence" by the way

rhunter25911, you're now spam posting, which is against the ToS you agreed to when you joined.

Keep your points in one place.

In addition I'm not going to put up with another chi thread where one poster tells the rest of us we're weak because our organs are weak, our chi is blocked or any other nonsense you can come up with.

Could be chi...but as Derren has absolutely NO martial training this is highly unlikely

Is that all you think the Internal Alchemy Process is:. Most people can go a life time and will never learn and study anything close to this. If you want your energy to escape from your body for the rest of your life the help yourself. Move and strikes with the backup of internal energy is weak.

    'Medway' - not Midway

As an apparent 'expert' of the internal martial arts, you should know that 'Dan Bian' is a posture occurring in all the major styles of Taijiquan..

First, you would need to define your understanding of 'internal energy'.

But, for now, I'll run through a couple of my basic training methods.

    • Opening the joints; we have a progressive neigong system which loosens the 9 'joints' of the body, increasing range of motion and releasing excess tension.
    • Softening through the core; beginning via static standing postures, using the breath to release tension through the muscular structure of the body, sinking the weight down and connecting the structure.
    • Coordinating the breath with physical movement, smoothing out the respiratory system so the breath doesn't get trapped when stressed.
    • Integrating full body connected movement, and applying it via the 8 core Jin.

I practice Yang style Taijiquan, and also have a background in Karate and Jujutsu.
I don't recall stating, nor implying, 'fear' of developing your so-called 'internal energy' - perhaps that is merely you trying to put yourself into a position of authority above me?

    My bodies PSI???

    Dude, I'm not a tyre....

I am impressed, and I am aware of the the title of Dan, and with your given answer above, I would become one of your students. I do like your instruction, but there is more to the development and movement of internal energy and I have 100% proof.

    Perfectly calm thank you.

I have cultivated my chi juice. It now flows around my body soothing the parts other forms of relaxation cannot reach.

I've had to learn this method of calming down ever since Hannibal took my teddy bear.

    You'd be welcome...

    I know many, many people who would LOVE to see this 'proof' of yours;
but for now, can you expand on this:
there is more to the development and movement of internal energy
I would be genuinely interested to hear your opinions/experience on this.

perhaps that is merely you trying to put yourself into a position of authority above me? - Dan Brian -

It was not my intention to put myself over or above anyone, I just wanted to have an adult discussion about internal martial arts.
Because you are a Dan In Tai Chi, you may feel that you are above input and learning something new.

So you though that I was trying to take over when you are the boss and authority here, right? Don't be so hostile, I mean you no harm.
