    Bjork - Debut
I really liked Bjork as lead vocalist of the Sugarcubes. When this solo debut was released the first track was getting a lot of play on radio/mtv. I thought it sounded pretty cool so I grabbed the cd. A nice mix of up-tempo alt-rock, Jazzy numbers, and some very mellow chill songs. Still a fave of mine. Human behaviour, Crying, Big time sensuality, One day, There's more to life than this

Ratt - Invasion Of Your Privacy
One of the best 80's Glam/Hair Metal bands. Their debut(out of the cellar) is a better overall record, but this one's pretty damn good too. You're in love, Lay it down, Between the eyes, Never use love.

Rebel On The Highway - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Charlie Brechtel was a Leading figure in the Biker Blues scene and a good friend of mine. Some 6-7 years ago He made this movie, filmed locally( Calaveras County, Calif.) starring himself and primarily local people. An original script based on the Robert Johnson "crossroads" story about bikers, starring bikers. This soundtrack is about 70% Charlie and his band and the rest is various artists including some big names( Gregg Allman, Eddie Money, Charlie Musselwhite, Deacon Jones).Mother lode, If the blues was money, Milwaukee Steel, Iron Buffalo, Puff puff pass. Charlie Brechtel died in April 2020. R.I.P. Goodtime Charlie.

    Ryan Bingham - Mescalito
Great cd of Country/Americana music by Singer/songwriter Bingham. Love Ryan's gravely voice and musical style. Would really like to see him and his band live someday. Southside of heaven, The other side, Take it easy mama, Sunrise, Boracho station.

Clint Black - Ultimate Clint Black
Country music superstar who was one of the leading artists of the 90's neo-traditionalist sound. Clint has it all, from his twangy vocals, catchy lyrics, and great old-school country musicianship(pedal steel, fiddle, harmonica). Lots of great hits on this cd. A better man, Killing time, State of mind, Nobody's home, Loving blind, A bad goodbye.

    Red - Innocence & Instinct
2009 release by Christian hard rockers.Won some dove awards, Grammy nominations, and charted on mainstream billboard with this one. Fight inside, Death of me, Mystery of you, Vever be the same, Out from under, and an interesting cover of Duran Duran's Ordinary world.

The Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker
Solid debut CD by the Crowes. I always considered them somewhat of a Southern Rock band but I hear a little bit more of a 70's rock swagger in the vain of the Stones & The Faces this time around. It's definatley a great sound that has held up well over time. Twice as hard, Jealous again, Seeing things, Hard to handle, She talks to angels.

Tom Cochrane And Red Rider - Anthology (1980 - 1987)
Really good music from Canadian band. While they only had a few legit hits all the songs on this collection are good. White hot, Lunatic fringe, Cowboys in Hong Kong(as far as Siam), Power, Human race, Boy inside the man.

    Eric Reed - Stand!
Great music from Jazz Pianist Reed. I always love the sound of a traditional Jazz trio. Eric is joined by Rodney Whitaker on Bass and Willie Jones III on Drums. If you enjoy new traditional sounding Jazz I recommend checking this one out. Stand!, Pursuit of peace, Gratitude, Adoracao, New morning.

sorry post deleted, I was just reading about the person who preformed this, and learned things I did not not now about him, and as much as I liked the song, I cannot in good conscience post anything he ever did

    Lulo Reinhardt - Desert Inspiration
Had the good fortune of catching Lulo live about 8 years ago at a small theater. Great guitarist. Got to chat with him at intermission and after the show as well as get a few photos and this autographed Cd. He was a real nice dude to talk with and a delight to see/hear live. This music is somewhat Flamenco with a strong middle-Eastern influence. Memories of Dachau, La Bassita, Lion, Pour Arnine, Sarine.

Creed is such an underrated band, a casualty of the 90's, overexposure, and of course, drugs.

Human Clay was was of the best albums of the era. 1999, and this was, in my opinion, their best and heaviest song ever. I can suffer the Scream 3 sequel, lyric music video, only because you get to see Scott and the band at their greatest.

Next to Nickelback, which is also a fine band whatever anyone whines about, Creed is up there among the best hated bands of all time.

This song is a close second to Creed's heaviest work, again, in my humble opinion.

Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell
The first of the Dio era albums. As much as I love Ozzy(who doesn't) I think that the Dio era produced some better material. Great album from beginning to end. Lady evil, Heaven and hell, Wishing well, Die young, Walk away.
